Although Bailey's business is to supply standard equipment and systems, we also design and assemble high quality custom systems to suit your specific needs. Bailey has been building custom equipment and systems for over 55 years. We offer compressor units (reciprocal and screw), condensing units (water-cooled and air-cooled), chillers, and built in place systems. All are available with corrosion resistant materials (e.g., Cu/Ni), explosion proof electrical enclosures, microprocessor or electromechanical control panels, and just about any other special feature required. Also available are dehumidification systems and heating systems.
Pictured below is a 400 hp Bailey Custom Designed and Assembled screw compressor water chiller. This unit is one of several built for the passenger ship Enchanted Seas. In all but the hottest weather, it cools the entire ship. Unique features include 90/10 Cu/Ni condenser construction (for sea water corrosion resistance), receiver for full pump down capability, full flow liquid line driers, 'bomb proof' frame, and take-apart construction to facilitate rigging into the engine room.
